Lilly and Morty's last 2 puppies had their 3rd set of vaccinations done today. Cinder has been at a friends house learning about house training, It was so fun to have her come back today and play with Mickey! They both had a blast! They both love water, and love to play in the water bowl. Funny that I have a wading pool full at one end of the large outside kennel, they ignore it and play in the drinking one. Silly puppies.  Mickey has alwa...

I have not been doing these blog posts, because I haven't been tech savvy enough to add pictures where I wanted them. But I have decided I should just add a little note of what's happening to go along with the website individual puppy and group puppy pictures.

Lilly's puppies are fat and happy. We have 3 that are just over 2 lbs, and 3 that are just over 1 lbs. It will be interesting to see if the weights stay this way, or if some of the l...

We took Ruby to Tualatin Oregon and met Making Strides, (Strider). What a great road trip, It was very beautiful, and  most of all We fell in love with Strider. Judy Albertson with Tualatin River Labradoodles was very gracious and kind and we had some great success. We hope to have puppies in the middle of Oct. I have great hopes for this pairing. Strider is amazing.

Life here at EllsWORTH Labradoodles is always changing. We no longer have any puppies available as all puppies have gone home. We purchased a new stud to add to our breeding program. We also enjoyed a visit from Gabby. The changes to her coat from puppy to dog have been awesome. She is a doll. Please scroll down for pictures and more details from these changes.

With Ruby being pretty much done nursing, she went back to her wonderful guardian home yesterday.  We will miss her! Her four  puppies moved in with Tilly's puppies. The 10 puppies all together are just a big, adorable fluff pile. They are playing well, eating well and getting noisy. This is the busiest and most fun time for us. We are continuing training and will start the work on sitting soon.  We will continue having people over to soci...

Today is March 23rd. The last of our spring puppies were born this morning. Matilda ( Tilly) is a first time mom. She had 6 lovely puppies, 3 boys, and 3 girls, all in the "cream range" from chalk to golden apricot. (It looks to me like the lighter ones may turn in to "parti"s" where they have spots of darker apricot). Time will tell.

Ruby also had her puppies on the first day of Spring... Sunday March 20th. She had 5 puppies ... a rainbow...

EllsWORTH Labradoodles, have lots of doodles WORTH adoring! Maple's puppies are two weeks old. They have their eyes open and are starting to get up on all fours. Stomachs off the ground. They are super cute. I hired a 9 year old puppy crazy neighbor to come and help me do the early neuro stimulation and the early scent introduction. There are many articles about the benefits of doing this here is one:

It is too cold to let the puppies stay outside very long, so we built a fun place in the basement for the puppies. But first we had to figure out how to protect the carpet.

first we moved the stadium blocks and the couches, then we cover the carpet with film

Then ram board.. a partially waterproof strong cardboard.

Then we added, rugs, potty boxes, toys, crates, other flooring.  Puppies first meal downstairs
