All have found their forever homes

Individual Photos
The guardians decided on the theme for the puppies short term names (until their new families give them their forever name) Since Starla was named after a character from the Movie "Napoleon Dynamite" These puppies have names from the movie too!

If you look at any of these pictures on a desk top, you will see comments under the pictures that show weekly weighs, these don't show up on the mobile app for some reason.

Purple ribbon Girl "Shasta"

Pink ribbon  Girl  "Deb"

found a home,  her new name is Hazel

green ribbon girl "Tina"

found a new home, her new name is Maisie

I am happy for Deb but a little sad to see her go, she was such fun to watch and snuggle with. But she will be so very happy in Baton Rouge, with her new family and a new big "brother Hershey", Kip, Tina now called Emme and Shasta are doing great, They sit for food, they follow us out in the pasture. They are sleeping in a crate all night long, and a few hours at a time during the day. They like to play with the big dogs, and like to play in the baby pool. They are happy beautiful pups. and would do well in almost any loving family. They are confident, happy, smart, and they love to learn. They are a pleasure!

Starla delivered at the William's home and they will raise the puppies until they are 7 weeks old. I was there for the delivery, and will be there often to help with ENS, and training and helping the William's to know how to best raise puppies.  We are following the Puppy Culture way of raising puppies mixed with the Avidog way too.

June 16, 2023 The puppies are getting a lot more outside time, and are starting to eat "puppy mush" which is goat milk and water and the kibble that mom eats and some puppy food all blended together. They are playing and running and moving more. They are still experiencing new things, sounds, smells, people etc. They are so fun to watch them play together now. Puppy weights at 4 weeks old are Kip-3.5 lbs, Deb-3 lbs, Shasta 3.6 lbs, Tina 3.5 lbs

June 1st. The puppies have moved from their Whelping "pool", where they were  born to a 4 foot by 4 foot whelping box. Most of the puppies eyes are open, Tina's are almost open but not quite yet. They are practicing getting up on all 4's and off of their stomachs. Starla is settling down and being a great mama. The puppies will do a lot of new things in the coming week. They now have a "Potty area" that as they learn to walk they can start using. This is just the first tiny step to learning this skill.  Everyone is healthy and happy!

May 24th. Starla is settling into motherhood. The William's are doing a wonderful job with the puppies and Starla; they are in love with her puppies. Starla really wanted to have her puppies upstairs in the bed with Beth, but we were able to persuade her that the whelping box is a better place. The puppies and Starla had a vet visit and the puppies had their dew claws removed. All the puppies are healthy and gaining weight. In the next week or two they will start opening their eyes and then their ears. Besides the early neuro stimulation we are doing, they also get to smell new smells everyday. They loved the lilac blossoms, but sure didn't like the smell of vinegar. (me too puppies!)
