Zion spent 2 weeks with a family that has a 7 year old diabetic alert dog from us, They fell in love with her, but found out that the mother of the family was allergic to her. (she does not shed though) So we brought her back home and shaved her to see if that would help with the allergies. They have decided to postpone getting a 2nd dog right now. So she is again available. This is what they said about her: : I want you to know what a fun girl she is. She is smart an has such a fun-loving personality. She is definitely going to make an amazing pet for whoever gets her. Se loves carrying things around the house. She walks well, and sits to make eye contact befoe crossing streets. She is learning that she must sit and wait until we have entered the house before she does. It was a tearful goodbye when they brought her back to us.
Zion is a sweet and agreeable girl. She has a calm personality and an affectionate nature. She enjoys training, and catches on fast. She is taller, than the other girls from her litter, she is very obedient, and right now my assistant Kaylee's favorite to train. She'd be a loving addition to a family She is taller, than the other girls, and very obedient She weighs about 20 lbs and won't get much bigger! Zion was spayed on May 18th so that cost is already taken care of!
The pros and cons of getting an older puppy: Cons: They aren't as little anymore, a young puppy is super darling! You get to train and bond with them while they are little. The Pros of getting an older dog: a lot of the earliest hardest training is already done. They are already sleeping through the night, they are over their first "fear period" they are getting a lot of basic training, they know to look at you, to sit, to walk on a leash they are leaning "touch" and other basic commands. They like, and are good in their crates, they have had their vaccination and de-worming. (They don't need any more vaccinations for a year!) You get a better idea of how big they will be and what their adult coat might look like.

Jemma's puppies were born on Friday night. Oct. 15th. She had a long first stage of labor, but once she was ready to push, the puppies were all born in about 2 hours. They are all growing well, and Jemma is being a great mom.
Dec. 5th, Jemma's puppies have had their aptitude evaluations done, they will get their 1st set of vaccinations done on Monday the 6th, I started treating them (with dry dog kibble) for sitting and in about 5 min. 3 of the 7 had figured it out most of them had figured out how to nicely take the food from my fingers and that they needed to sit to get the food. They are smart. They are one of the quickest litters I have had that learned to go potty in the potty area, and not their sleeping area. They will start sleeping in a crate at night tonight. They really wanted to play with the older puppies, I was worried because they are so much smaller, but I let them play together and am amazed how well they did. They have their mother's large eyes, and are soft and sweet and cuddly! They can go to their new homes Dec. 13th.
Dec. 14th, Smoky has been picked and is going to a trainers before going to her new home in AZ. the puppies have slept through the night (10;30 -6:00am) without any accidents! They are so super soft and sweet! We will miss these cutie-pies! This litter is confident, and smart, and they like people. Playful and sweet as can be. They take the food from my hand so softly, what darling littles! I think the whole litter won't get much over 20 lbs.
