Sept. 19th 2023. Almond Mia and Cassie are sure having fun together. Although Almond goes to my son's home on September 29th. Cassie and Mia are doing great with training, they are having more alone time and figuring out how to do without each other. They learning and growing, we took them to the park and had them walk well on a leash, they had to sit quietly while a puppy walked around them, they each had turns of sitting quietly and turns of walking around each other. It was hard for them, but they did great for their first try. Video will be added. The girls are still needing their forever homes. Will one of them be with you!

From Lynn our Guardian: Greta is “practically perfect in every way” as Mary Poppins would say. She is smart and playful, but is comfortable lounging in the evenings and content just to belong. Greta loves activity and to “fetch.” She runs with my husband and is in excellent shape. She will bring a tennis ball and drop it at your feet to let you know that she is ready to play at any time. She loves her stuffed toys. Amazingly, she has not damaged or chewed on anything but the countless “dog toys” we have provided. She seems to know what is hers and leaves everything else alone. Our two young sons adore her. I trust Greta to be sweet and tolerant, curious and affectionate. Greta is a lovely mixture of confidence, good judgement, and fun. Her darling personality makes her a joy to have in our family… We have all fallen in love with her. And we LOVE that she doesn't shed!

Freddy has gotten a darker red as he ages. We hope he will pass on this "rufus" gene of getting darker to his off spring. He is a silly playful dog, that loves toys, Every morning the first thing he does is finds a rope or a toy to carry around to show everyone he has a toy and is ready to play. He is handsome stud, and may move to AZ next summer to live with Watson one of our retired boys and my son.

Sept. 6th 2023. We miss the puppies that have gone to their new homes. But we have Almond still here that will go to AZ the end of September and the 2 girls that are still available are a delight! All three are working on impulse control, and are learning "Watch me", they are connecting the word "sit" with the action. they have explored a lot of the house and are working on "leave it". They are learning to walk nicely on a leash. They are being bathed and groomed regularly and are getting used to nails being cut, and the strong blow dryer. They like the water and mostly enjoy their baths. They like to play with the big dogs, their dad Freddy, and "uncle" Orlando.
August 19th, Puppies are eating dry dog food now, 3 times a day, and we are using their dog food for training too. Greta has gone home to her guardian home, this was her 3rd litter and she is retired now, and can just be a great family dog! Puppies are sleeping from about 11:30 pm to about 6:30am. They are all sleeping together in one crate, this coming week we will start separating them to maybe 2 to a crate. and then each to their own crate. But they are in a room with other dogs in other crates still. They are getting alone time now. by themselves for a little while in the day in a crate, and then training alone with a trainer. (one dog to one trainer)

July 29th Greta's puppies are now almost 5 weeks old. They love the outdoors and chasing Greta or us humans around. They still aren't great at running, but are getting better at it, and better at finding the gates, and how to go around things and not run into them. They are eating food 2 or 3 times a day , plus Greta is still feeding them, and cleaning up after them. They love to be handled and are learning new things and sounds, they have had a lot of people come and see them and are getting use to all sorts of new things. Their personalities are starting to be come more defined and easier to guess which one will be a little nervous of new things (Wally) and which one will come running out and exploring first (Al). We are sure having fun with them.
Greta's puppies are now 2 weeks old, they got a bigger 4'X4' whelping box, with potty areas and sleeping areas. They still mostly sleep and eat. They are doing the Early neuro stimulation daily and also getting an opportunity to smell new things every day. Their eyes are beginning to open as are their ears. We will start playing classical music for them, as well as sounds they should get used to hearing, like doorbells, and knocking and kids crying, vacuums etc.
