February 11, 2026 Ginger has spent the last 2 nights at home, and came today just for a an hour, she doesn't want to nurse the puppies anymore, and the puppies seem find with just eating their puppy food. I took the "weaning box" down last night and so now the puppies sleep in a crate, and play outside, they get time out of the crate during training times, and then back outside or in the crate. They made it through the night last night without an accident in the crate, but then during their just 2 hour turn at the crate this morning 1 puppy had a urine accident in the crate. Which is pretty good for just learning about crates and potting outside... They are learning about sitting for a treat and how to take a treat from our hands. They are figuring out this pretty good too! I am proud of this litter, they are the "least" jumpy of most of the litters I have had in the past.Well done puppies, I am excited to see how they will do with the Volhard aptitude evaluation on the 16th, just 5 more days for the test and then time to allocate the puppies! So exciting!
