Sailor's Puppies

There are puppies in this litter still available, act quick!

Born September 29th 2021  Ready to go home NOW

Individual Photos
Kerry (the guardian of Sailor) decided on a "Fall theme"
for their "short term" names -until the names are changed by their forever families.

The pros and cons of getting an older puppy: Cons: They aren't as little anymore, a young puppy is super darling! You get to train and bond with them while they are little.  The Pros of getting an older dog:  a lot of the earliest hardest training is already done. They are already sleeping through the night, they are over their first "fear period" they are getting a lot of basic training, they know to look at you, to sit, to walk on a leash they are leaning "touch" and other basic commands.  They like, and are good in their crates, they  have had their vaccination and de-worming. (They don't need any more vaccinations for a  year!)  You get a better idea of how big they will be and what their adult coat might look like. The puppies were de-sexed on May 18th. that cost is now taken care of.

These puppies walk well on a leash, play fetch, sit, go to place, lay down, groomer friendly, and sleep through the night, they have had all their puppy vaccinations and were de-sexed on May 18th. These puppies are well worth an extra $1000 above the regular price, but for May I am keeping the regular price for these amazing sweet dogs.

Teal ribbon   female  "Punkin Pie"

available
Pie recuperated at a friends house for about 10 days after her spay. They call her "Punkin Pie" Such a cute name for a darling dog.  She did great in her house with all new things, and she fell in love with Nicole, in fact when Nicole went some where she would go get something of hers to sleep with, once it was her shoes, ones a shirt.  What a loving girl! She is very even tempered. She is on the quiet side, but not shy. She can focus on training, and also hold her own with the other puppies. A really lovely girl She loves playing with other dogs, but gets nervous at new things.

Blue Ribbon  Male  "Bounty"

available
Bounty is like your big brother's silly best friend. Think Will Ferrell. He's eager to please, and smart. He would be perfect for an active family who want a dog to take with them on their adventures. He has a lot of love to give, in a very handsome package
Bounty has gone to a board and train for 2 weeks. . He has learned and working on being potty trained, is great using a doggy door, walking on a leash, sit, down, look, leave it. He is sweet and smart and loves to play, He has a higher energy level and would love going on walks. He is still working on  impulse control. He is very loving, and wants to please.

Lime green ribbon female  "Apple"

Apple has a sweet face, that is a perfect complement to her personality. If you are looking for an all around good pup, Apple is your girl. Continued training will take her off the charts She has the darkest and most caramel spots on her coat. She is one of my favorites.

Red ribbon female  "Scarlet"

Purple ribbon   female "Cider"

Yellow ribbon   female  "Crisp"

Scarlet is a quick study. She's learned to be on her best behavior in public. She is very loving and lovable She has the least amount of caramel spots on her coat. I took her to St. George to my grand daughters soccer tournament and was totally amazed how well she did, she came with us to a museum and to crackle barrel to eat and was perfect!  (she does occasionally piddle when nervous or excited but only did it once on our trip when my brother-in-law reached down to pet her. )

Orange ribbon female "Harvest"

November 20th, The puppies had their aptititude evaluations yesterday. There is a link from the top of the page to Sailors puppies aptitude evaluations. The puppies did AMAZING in the car ride to Evanston and back (a little under 2 hours each way) They did really well with the evaluations, and with playing with Luna and Soleil (my daughters dogs). They had so many new things on the 19th. well done puppies!

They also slept last night in a crate all together, right next to  the other older puppies and dogs. There wasn't any accidents, although we did get up and let them potty about 3:00 am. This has been a really fun litter, they had an early "fear" period (except for Bounty) and this last week they have all gotten over it, and are happy and excited to welcome new things... well with a little need of comfort  :)

Oct. 13th, All the puppies have their eyes open. They are all still mostly sleeping and eating. Sailor is a fantastic mother, they are all fat and happy. They are starting to move around some .

Oct. 6,2021 Sailor has been a great mom! She is keeping the puppies very clean, and feeding them well!  They mostly eat and sleep.  This coming week their eyes might start to open and so will their ears. They are doing great with the early neuro stimulation and are enjoying the chance to smell new smells. Today was a marigold flower. There was a lot of sniffing going on ! :) Super sweet little ones!
